3D Modelling The practice has extensive in-house 3D modelling facilities. These are used primarily to provide the client with a visual representation of the proposed development. |
These digital 'renders' when superimposed over an existing view of the site provide the client, planning departments and public with an ideal means of viewing and assessing the proposal in context with its surroundings.
By generating a model, the client and other parties can gain an understanding of the building form, contextual setting and internal spaces. By dynamically altering the building materials, lighting and finishes in the software it becomes possible to quickly assess the impact of varying surface treatments to the building envelope.
During the design stage this modelling approach allows speculative physical design changes to the scheme to be visualized and evaluated.
Changes to the style, scale, facade components and the introduction of new building elements can be easily conveyed to the client or developer at an early stage of the design process.
